Through the Cloudmix integration with YouTube, you can quickly and easily setup a live stream to YouTube.

To link your Cloudmix account to your YouTube account follow these steps:

  1. In Cloudmix select "Account" then choose "Profile Edit"
  2. On the Profile Edit page, click "YouTube Accounts" in the left menu
  3. Click the "Sign in with YouTube" button

Google will then ask you to choose the account you would like to associate with the app Cloudmix-Youtube.

Next you will need to authorise Cloudmix to access yout YouTube account on your behalf.

Setting up a YouTube Live Stream from Cloudmix

  1. In "List Events" click the "Streams" button for the Cloudmix event you would like to add a YouTube stream
  2. Click"New Destination" and select "New YouTube"
  3. Next select your YouTube channel from the "Selected Channel" dropdown, then give the stream a title and description
  4. Select a date and time for your stream, then click "Create"


Your scheduled stream is now ready and will be ready to stream when you start your Cloudmix server.


If you are having problems adding your YouTube account then try the following:

  1. Log in to your YouTube account
  2. Click Settings in the left menu
  3. In the popup click "Channel" and choose "Feature eligibility" 
  4. Make sure "Intermediate Features" are enabled - you may need to verify your phone number to enable this.
