Each event represents a dedicated Cloudmix server, but you will only be billed from the time you start your event. This means you can set up events well ahead of the scheduled live stream and not worry about incurring costs.
You can start your Cloudmix server by clicking the “Start” button. A popup will appear asking which resolution and Frames Per Second (FPS) setting you would like to use. You can confirm the start by clicking the Start button in the settings popup. Each server takes a few minutes to start and you will see the progress in the “List Events” page.
When the “Control Room” button is visible in the status column, the server is ready, and clicking on it will take you to the Cloudmix Event Control Room. From here you can control all aspects of your Cloudmix event such as switching inputs, adding graphic overlays, and starting or stopping output streams.
