Images in Cloudmix can be used for both a holding slide that can be switched to during a live stream, and as a idle image that will automatically appear when a feed stops. The reasons a feed could stop include:

  • The live RTMP connection drops
  • The pre recorded video complets

Images should have a resolution of at least 1280x720. Any larger images should have an aspect ratio of 16:9. If any uploaded images are outside this aspect ratio, Cloudmix will automatically resize the image to fit inside the player window. Any remaining space will be black. Cloudmix will not crop out or distort the aspect ratio of the image.
