Cloudmix control room can be set to either preview mode or to auto cut mode.
Preview mode
Preview mode allows the selection of a feed (RTMP/video/image), which will display in the preview window. Clicking cut will then make that feed live in the program out, and the previously live feed will appear as the preview. A feed that is in preview will have a blue border. A live feed will have a flashing red border.
Auto cut mode
Auto cut is enabled by ticking the Auto cut button. The preview window will disappear and clicking on feeds will immediately make them live. A live feed will have a flashing red border.
Program
The program window is an exact representation of the stream outputting to the set destinations. It is a low latency stream running at 400kbps. The player has pause/play, audio level/mute, and fullscreen functions. There is also a “Reload player” button if there are any viewing issues.
Streams
The top right corner displays the status of the destination streams. All destinations set for the event will be listed and will show a “Start” button to start the push, or a “Stop” button to stop pushing. The button will flash orange when its trying to connect. Clicking the “Streams” button in the control room will take you to the page where you can edit all your streams.
GFX Overlays
Cloudmix allows you to add overlays to your streams. Currently, any publicly accessible URL is supported. Cloudmix also integrates particularly well with the LiGR live graphics engine.
Click on the GFX banner to expand the graphic overly section. Click on the cog to add the URL. Clicking start will not display the overlay, but it will display a show button which will then add the overlay to the program output.
The most common use for the graphic overlay is a logo watermark. This can be achieved by uploading transparent .png file 1280x720 or 1920x1080 to a public URL, and following the above steps.
