Cloudmix has an integration with Facebook that makes scheduling and setting up live streams a simple and quick process.

To link your Cloudmix account to your Facebook account follow these steps:

  1. In Cloudmix select "Account" then choose "Profile Edit"
  2. On the Profile Edit page, click "Facebook Accounts" in the left menu
  3. Click the "Continue with Facebook" button to start the process

Facebook will then ask you to login via a popup window - if you are already logged in on your browser then this step will be skipped.

Once logged in to Facebook, you will then be asked to allow the app Cloudmix-live access yout timeline and pages you manage.


Setting up a Facebook Live Stream from Cloudmix

  1. In "List Events" click the "Streams" button for the Cloudmix event you would like to add a Facebook stream
  2. Click"New Destination" and select "New Facebook"
  3. Next select your Facebook account from the "Selected Account" dropdown, then give the stream a title and description
  4. In the "Destination" dropdown, you can choose to either post the stream to the timeline or on a page the Facebook account manages
  5. Select a date and time for your stream, or switch to "Live Now" if you would like to go live immediately
  6. Click "Create" to setup your Facebook stream


Your scheduled stream is now ready and will be ready to stream when you start your Cloudmix server.
