An event is a virtual production setup that compiles sources and input streams (Feeds) into a control room style window and allows for switching of vision/audio as well as graphics overlays.
Each Event is a dedicated Cloudmix server, but you can set up different aspects of your Event before it starts.
To create an event in Cloudmix login to control.cloudmix.tv and under “Events” click “New Event”. Give your new event a title and select a region from the dropdown.
Once your event is created it will appear in the “List Events” section in your account.
Creating a new event does NOT automatically start a Cloudmix server. Therefore, there is no need to create an event very close to the start time of the actual streamed event in order to incur minimal costs. It is recommended a new event be made well in advance of the actual event.
