To connect your encoder to a Cloudmix RTMP input follow these steps:

  1. Copy the RTMP address and key from the Cloudmix input
  2. Paste the RTMP details into your encoder
  3. Set the resolution to match the resolution of your Cloudmix event (1280x720 or 1920x1080)
  4. Set the Frames Per Second (FPS) to match your event (25, 30, or 50)
  5. Set the encoder to x264
  6. Set the rate control to CBR
  7. Set the keyframe interval to 2 seconds

Finding your RTMP address:

You can get the RTMP address from 2 different places:

  1. Under "List Events" then choose "Feeds". The RTMP address and stream name will be listed for each RTMP input
  2. Directly from the Control Room by clicking the 'cog' icon under each RTMP input.
